Woopra is the world’s most comprehensive, information rich, easy to use, real-time Web tracking and analysis application. And it’s free! We will report back on how the system performs as we get approval for further sites we control.
As Street view goes live in Australia I was sent this from Alan in The USA.
It looks like the young bloke was on the way home from school as the Google van went past.
Google Earth gets an update and now has Sun effects.
Our 3D model now can appear as it would look at sunrise.
In a record attempt Myer Fredman, Symphonic and Operatic conductor, has Wordpress site up and running in a blistering 35 min.
Good luck with the new site Myer.
Police Legacy Victoria have a new site that we have been working on for a number of weeks.
They do great work looking after widows and children of former Police members.
Built in WordPress, Laurie Snowball is doing a great job managing content. Have a look now.
Thanks to those who attended our presentation on WordPress as a web site publishing platform today at the AVE Vic 2008 conference at the Vibe Savoy Hotel in Little Collins Street Melbourne.
We struggled to prepare for the demo as we are flat out but we hope that you learned a little about the application and can keep it in mind when building your next site.
All the notes and examples we used are listed on the site we started to build during the presentation.
Back on my own keyboard the components went up in an hour or so.
I did falter during the demonstration and ran short of time to complete the build but I hope you got the idea.
The site is live now at www.bigtrousers.tv
I just paid $10 to own a link from a word in The Big Word Project dictionary page.
The idea is that as a viral concept you buy a word for $1 per letter and link that word to the site of your choice.
You could of course link to a blank domain and then resell the domain if it became a valuable property.
Strange concept but overnight my word generated 20 or so hits.
(Hint : my word is something that relates to my profession.)
We will be looking closely at E Junkie to see if we can trail an instance of this system. They charge a monthly fee to secure host all the components and charge an amount based on the number of products.
E-junkie is FREE for nonprofit organizations which is a great idea. Have a read here.
E-junkie shopping cart (FatFreeCartPro) works inside your website and even on your MySpace page without having to install anything. All you need to do is to paste our buttons wherever you want to use E-junkie shopping cart.
Our shopping cart works with PayPal Standard, PayPal Pro, Google Checkout and Authorize.Net. It can be used for selling downloads and tangible items.
Kimberley Rain jewellery tests the eCommerce Plugin for WordPress with her new site.
The cart employs a simple interface with an Ajax mechanism.
All this in a Content managed WordPress backend. Have a look and get some pearls for the one you love.
My good mate James has finally got his CD “Carpet Bomb” onto the iTunes music store globally.
His mates in the band, Velvedene have done a great job with this album and the video footage in support.
Have a quick look at the new video.
Or get the album now using iTunes
After much messing around we finally got Velvedene.com online.
This is a WordPress site that contains video and audio from the debut album “Carpet Bomb”
We used one track from this album for the PhotoGeek podcast intro each week so we owe James this plug at least.
Have a listen to the sample mp3’s and see the video “Fear Your Gods”
Wizzard Media , the industry’s largest podcast hosting network and part of Wizzard Software (WIZD), announced today that it has entered into exclusive advertising partnerships with two popular comedy podcasts: Tiki Bar TV and Keith and The Girl.
How cool is that? I think this is a first for a podcast. Tiki Bar TV.
Wizzard Media will secure advertising campaigns from national brands appropriate to each show’s content.
