As the web evolves it is becoming apparent that the old media concepts of have been forever altered.
One example is the emergence of podcasting.
Using online content it is possible to create your own subscribed radio show or even rival cable or Free to Air TV productions with online audio/video.
Independent producers can obtain very large global user base to programs in any format they desire. From shows aimed at an iPod® player to a full 1080p HD TV equipped audience. With the release of media centre hardware such as the AppleTV®, it is now a simple process of free subscription through iTunes software or similar on either Windows or Mac OS X that provides content for your TV screen or audio player.
At Big Trousers we currently produce, record and host two podcasts that are mainly audio (video soon).
Photogeek is a show for hardcore photographic nerds. We are a bit lewd at times as it appeals to the “blokey” kind of photographer. This show runs over an hour every week.
